Launched in 2021 by an equity investment in EIT INNOENERGY, a major player in the incubation and development of innovative solutions, the GROUPE IDEC INVEST Innovation Fund now brings together more than 25 startups that stand out in areas related to the energy transition and innovative technologies.
All investments made by the GROUPE IDEC Investment Fund are aligned with key fundamentals that aim to provide clear visibility into their development plan, position themselves in a sector of interest to the group, its subsidiaries, and its customers, and generate business potential through real estate projects or joint developments.
Our investment process to support innovation
Thanks to the financial strength of the IDEC Group and the support of our financial partners, we provide innovative startups with our strong investment capacity and unwavering commitment.
Discover the key steps in the process followed by our subsidiary GROUPE IDEC INVEST Innovation:
- Investment in the startup’s capital during the seed or acceleration phase: your innovation investor takes an equity stake in your organization and provides new capital.
- Technical support: In addition to our financial investment, we are actively involved in the operational development of these promising companies (assistance with product development, improvement of production processes, integration of new technologies).
- Commercial and financial support: your innovation investor guarantees a contribution of financial resources for the initial development or evolution of each startup. It also helps increase their presence in their own market.
- Support in industrial production: setting up the production line, product quality control, logistics, and procurement.
- Real estate and industrial expertise: finding land suited to the startup’s needs, including accessibility, suitable location, respect for biodiversity, and designing production spaces to optimize production, safety, and energy efficiency.
- Promotion of solutions: GROUPE IDEC INVEST Innovation’s role is to improve startups’ products or services and facilitate their access to certain distribution networks or specific markets to boost their growth.
