THEBAULT INGENIERIE has started work on a production unit for LUCULLUS in Prouvy (Nord)

14 February 2019
THEBAULT INGENIERIE, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving food factories, has just started work on a new project for LUCULLUS. It will take thirteen months to erect this production unit in Prouvy (Nord).

A new production unit for LUCULLUS

LUCULLUS, a firm specialising in the preparation of homemade processed pork and the manufacture of high quality preserves and jams, turned to THEBAULT INGENIERE, to come up with the plans for these new facilities in Prouvy and design and build them. This project aims to satisfy the development requirements of this company, which is well known for its specialist products, such as foie gras and ox tongue, which have seen rapid growth over the past few years, both locally and nationally.

Building work has begun

After a lot of attention was paid to the design, in close collaboration with the client, the teams from THEBAULT INGENIERIE have just started work on the construction of this project, which will cover 2850 m² in all. This project, based around five distinct areas includes an office block with staff rooms and a factory shop, will become the company’s headquarters. A large production area covering 1750 m², a 650 m² storage warehouse and an energy unit are also part of this project, which will become home to the 18 members of staff of LUCULLUS.

To be delivered in February 2020

Work will firstly focus on the construction of the storage area, before the energy unit, followed by the production zone to complete the administrative building and the outdoor layout. In order to make it easier for the client to move in, THEBAULT INGENIERIE will make part of the project available in advance in December, with a second phase early in January. The complete handover of this new manufacturing site is scheduled for early February 2020.
